Leipzig Festival of Lights 2017: Awakening – Responsibility – Openness
The short film conveys excerpts from the stage programme and the welcoming addresses, as well as visitors’ memories and reflections: As part of the Leipzig Festival of Lights, more than 15,000 people gathered on Augustusplatz on the 9ᵗʰ of October 2017 to commemorate the Peaceful Revolution in autumn 89. Under the motto “Awakening – Responsibility – Openness”, it brought together a multifaceted programme of talks, jazz and video.
