20 years of the Peaceful Revolution and European unity
In 2009, 150,000 Leipzig residents and guests from all over the world commemorated the 20th anniversary of the Peaceful Revolution at the Leipzig Festival of Lights. The short film shows impressions of the shared act of remembrance on the 9ᵗʰ of October 2009 and impressions of the 28 light projects. Female visitors to the Festival of Lights and contemporary witnesses of the Peaceful Revolution also have their say.
