Impressions of the Leipzig Festival of Lights 2013
"How are you? Via Prague!"
Traditionally, the Leipzig Festival of Lights invites visitors to Augustusplatz on the 9ᵗʰ of October. Under the heading "How are you? Via Prague!", the artistic and civic project – following the themes "Poland" in 2011 and "Hungary" in 2012 – explored in 2013 both conceptually and artistically the events in the Czech Republic and Slovakia (until 1989 Czechoslovakia), including the Prague Spring of 1968 and the occupation of the embassy in Prague by GDR refugees in 1989.
