Faces of Light is a site-specific installation. Projectors cast portraits of people involved in the events of autumn ’89 onto the windows. Beams of light extend into the public space, connecting the façade, projection and audience. The installation responds directly to the site’s architectural features and translates the events of the Peaceful Revolution into a spatial image.

László Zsolt Bordos is a Hungarian artist and internationally recognised pioneer of 3D projection mapping. He lives and works in Budapest. His monumental light works, with their distinctive visual language, transform architecture around the world into emotional, abstract spaces of experience. Bordos primarily creates solo works, installations and projections for theatre and opera, and regularly appears at international light art festivals.
