LTM processes your data to the required extent for the following purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Your contact details, contract details and bank details are processed for the conclusion, execution and termination of contracts for the services offered, such as booking accommodation, travel, tours, events, tickets or the sale of welcome cards and souvenirs;
  • For the processing of booking enquiries and the ordering of information material, travel brochures, photos, etc., which we send to you by post or electronically or which you can download, we need your contact data;
  • In order to provide you with a shopping basket to enable you to access and manage the content you have saved in the shopping basket, we need your IP address and information about the content of interest to you;
  • To provide you with a watch list to enable you to compile and download the information of interest to you (or alternatively, LTM can send it to you by email on request) we will process your IP address, information about the information of interest to you and, if applicable, your email address. Your data will be processed for the purpose of handling the contractual relationship between you and LTM or to carry out pre-contractual measures.

2.2 Newsletter and marketing purposes

You have the option of registering for our various newsletters which we send every two months to inform you about current offers, events and tourist tips etc. from Leipzig and the Leipzig region. By registering, you agree that your email address (and, if applicable, your name) will be stored electronically and used to send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. We only collect your email address and use this data based solely on your consent.

2.3 Processing of data in blogs and forums

If you leave a comment or post on our blog, you will be required to provide your email address and a name. You can decide whether you want to be notified about new comments or posts by email. We collect, process and use your data to operate the blog securely and to allow you to use the blog. Data will be processed for the fulfilment of the existing usage relationship between us. If you no longer wish to receive notifications, you will be informed of your cancellation options in each email.

3. Consent, revocation and objection

When you access a page of our website that contains a plugin of this type, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of Facebook, YouTube, Google, Twitter, Xing or Pinterest.
