The Leipzig artist Maix Mayer documented the Monday Demonstrations in Leipzig of 1989 from the former pedestrian bridge Blaues Wunder. With the help of his augmented reality app *Blaues WundAR*, he virtually brought the bridge, which was demolished in 2004, back to life for the Leipzig Festival of Lights.

*Blaues WundAR was on display as part of the Leipzig Festival of Lights XXL beyond the 9ᵗʰ of October 2024.*
